Megan Henry

Team USA Skeleton and Captain and Intelligence Officer with the U.S. Army Reserve

Captain Megan Henry serves as an Intelligence Officer with the Army Reserve and is a three-time member of the Army's World Class Athlete Program where she represented the Army in international competition in pursuit of the Winter Olympic Games as a Team USA Skeleton Athlete. After suffering from life-threatening blood clots, she increased her interest in sport and performance psychology during her recovery and return to competition. She held the number one spot in the United States for several years, made several World Championship teams, and held two track records and ranked as high as 8th in the World.  A lifelong athlete, Megan was a two-sport Division I athlete (field hockey & track and field) and has also competed at the National level in Olympic weightlifting. She has received numerous awards in the Army for her physical and mental fortitude. As an ambassador for the military, she has volunteered mentoring female future soldiers. She has also volunteered with the Lindsey Vonn Foundation as well as Voice in Sport as a mentor for young athletes. Megan has aspirations of helping athletes and soldiers obtain peak performance.  Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Law, Economics and Government from American University with a minor in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Intelligence Studies from American Military University. She is currently enrolled in a Master of Science in Sport and Exercise Science with a concentration in Sport Psychology from Lock Haven University.
